As another sun sets in the West, we find ourselves reflecting on who our heroes are, and why. The Cowboys and Indians show is very close to our hearts here at the R&R, because it reminds us of simpler times. Before there were dollar stores, when you could stroll down to the Five Star with your mom and grab a little piece of the warrior…a shiny plastic six-shooter, or feathered plastic tomahawk.
This show is an homage to the heroes who are often the anti-hero. Men who talked slower, said less and meant more. We could say more, but it’s best to let them speak for themselves:
Cowboy Wisdom:
“Never approach a bull from the front, a horse from the rear, or a fool from any direction.”
Black Elk, Oglala Sioux:
